CHICKEN BOWL
Ingredients provided:
• Marinated chicken breast
• Brown rice
• Vegetables
• Peanut sauce
Ingredients from own source:
• Salt and pepper
• Oil
Equipment required:
• Cutting board and sharp knife
• Pot with lid for cooking rice
• Pan with lid for cooking chicken
• Serving bowl
Instructions:
• Let the chicken come to room temperature.
• Cook the rice.
• Heat some oil in the pan and brown the chicken all sides.
• Season with salt and pepper, cover and let simmer 25 minutes.
• Peel and slice the vegetables to your liking.
• Once the rice is cooked, drain and add to the serving bowl.
• Add the vegetables to the rice.
• Once the chicken is cooked, slice and add to the serving bowl.
• Serve with the peanut sauce.
