CHICKEN SKEWERS
Ingredients provided:
• Marinated chicken fillet
• Seasonal fruit and vegetables
• Skewer
• Potatoes and mayo dressing (if selected)
• Cabbage and carrot and dressing (if selected)
Ingredients from own source:
• Salt and pepper
• Oil for grilling
Equipment required:
• Cutting board and sharp knife for vegetables
• Cutting board for chicken
• Grill / griddle pan
• Pot with lid for cooking potatoes
• Serving platter
Instructions:
• Cook potatoes, peel and dress (if using) and turn out on serving platter.
• Finely slice cabbage and carrot (if using) and add to serving platter. Pour dressing over salad.
• Peal, deseed and cut fruit and vegetables.
• Cut chicken in slices on dedicated cutting board.
• Skewer chicken and fruit and vegetable pieces.
• Drizzle skewers with oil.
• Heat Grill or griddle pan on high heat until hot. Add skewers and turn heat down to medium.
• Cook, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are slightly charred on the edges.
• Add skewers to serving platter.
