MINCE JAFFLE
Ingredients provided:
• Cooked ground beef
• Slices of bread
Ingredients from own source (according to your preference):
• Margarine/butter for spreading on the bread
• Mayonnaise/Chutney/Tomato sauce
• Slices tomato/grated cheese
Equipment required:
• Jaffle pan
• Non stick spray
• Cutting board or heatproof surface
• Sharp knife
Instructions:
• Prepare optional add-ons and keep aside.
• Spray the jaffle pan with non stick spray and set the empty pan on medium high heat.
• Spread one side of each slice of bread with the margarine/butter and sauce.
• Turn the empty jaffle pan over so that the other side heats up also.
• Place the meat and add-ons on the buttered side of one slice and top with the other slice so that the outsides of the sandwich is bare.
• Remove the jaffle pan from the heat and place on cutting board or other heatproof surface. Place the sandwich in the pan and close tightly. Cut the corners that stick out, off and replace the pan on the heat.
• Cook 2-3 minutes, turn over and repeat for other side.
