PORK BANGER & GRAVY
Ingredients provided:
• Pork bangers
• Gravy powder
• Butter
• Vegetables (if selected)
• Pasta/potatoes (if selected)
Ingredients from own source:
• Salt and pepper
• Oil
• Boiling water
Equipment required:
• Frying pan
• Pot for cooking pasta/potatoes (if using)
• Pan with lid for cooking vegetables (if using)
• Serving platter
• Whisk
Instructions:
• Prepare and cook pasta/potatoes and vegetables if using.
• Heat a little oil in the frying pan over medium high heat and fry the pork bangers, turning to cook all sides – ten minutes max.
• Remove the bangers to the serving platter.
• Add the butter to the pan and reduce heat to medium. Once the butter is melted, add the gravy powder and mix with the whisk.
• Add a little boiling water and continue mixing until smooth. Add more water until you are happy with your gravy. Let bubble a couple of minutes and pour over bangers.
• Serve with vegetables/salad and potatoes/pasta.
